About GENOSENSE Diagnostics

GENOSENSE Diagnostics GmbH was founded in spring 2001 as an offspring of VBC-GENOMICS Bioscience Research GmbH (www.vbc-genomics.com) by an highly experienced group of professionals from the fields of gynaecology endocrinology, molecular biology and biochemistry with the intent of establishing individual and patient-orientated preventive genetic testing services.

GENOSENSE Diagnostics offers a unique line of Preventive Genetic Diagnostic products. Each product focuses on a carefully selected set of genetic variants (polymorphisms) associated with particular diseases and/or physiologic imbalances. The company also provides academic institutions and pharmaceutical companies with turnkey solutions for research-based projects.

In addition, the company has alongside ongoing internal improvement processes received the „Permission for the realization of genetic analyses for humans for medical purposes according to §68 Austrian genetic technology law” from the Austrian government.

Our Unique Service

Our products should not be considered as fixed unchangeable systems. It is our assignment to steadily evaluate and adjust our products in accordance with up-to-date scientific results. However we want to express, that we extend our products, as soon as the importance of a genetic polymorphism has been proved by international studies and the positive examination by our experts

GENOSENSE does not only supply the genetic test results: Our analysis report is a combination of the genetic test result, a scientific interpretation and the clinical interpretation by our experts. Therefore, the assigning physician need not be a genetic expert to interpret the results and initiate a successful diagnosis for his patient.
