General Information

By 2015 approximately every second person will suffer from allergies

Latest facts indicate that every third child is suffering from allergy today. Presently one in every third Europeans suffers of typical symptoms of allergy – an upward tendency. It is estimated that in the year 2015 probably half of the European community will be affected.

Over the last two decades, the prevalence of allergic diseases has increased dramatically in the industrialized world. Some scientists believe that this development is based on a dramatic life style change provoked by an increased daily hygiene or by the eradication of certain pathogens from our environment. Others state that the disease is triggered by increased concentration of pollutants in our environment. Apart from a likely environmental contribution, it has been shown in scientific studies that the development of allergy correlates to the presence of certain risk genes and this heritable component is particularly evident in families where both parents are affected, leading to at least 50% chance for the offspring to develop the disease..

Genosense Diagnostics offers an allergy test based on modern biochip development. This method replaces the standard allergy skin-test (in vivo) by placing a small drop of blood on a microchip (in vitro) which informs the physician and patient absolute accurately about the responsible allergen/s as well as the possibility to draw down solutions on cross- and multiple sensitizations. Additional to that is this test is more secure and approprirate than skin-prick testing.

This test also allows you to identify existing sensitizations before an allergic reaction appears and as a conclusion of it, to implement adequate counteractions.
The Isac Test is very suitable for children, since only a few drops of blood have to be taken from the finger pad.

Allergies may affect the nasal mucosa, the bronchia, the eyes, the skin or – in case of an allergic shock – your entire body. In difficult cases, people with asthma or with an allergy to food substances or insect bites for example, may even end in death.
The World Health Organisation WHO estimates, that every hour one person dies of asthma in Europe.

The Importance of sensitization knowledge as Preventive Precaution

Adults and children for example who are not aware about sensitization of an inhalation allergy and who are constantly in nature are facing a high risk to come down with asthma via pollen flight or respirable dust.

Since the body reacts by generation IgE and IgG4 in connection with a sensitization-and/or an allergy and the immune system is continuously occupied with it, it is not able to fight other sprouting later diseases. From the early diagnostic and preventative medical point of view the knowledge about that is of great importance.

Allergies are detected successful within 28 countries worldwide with help of this test!

To mention some:
The Center for experimental allergology IDI_IRCCS in Rome, the Orthobiotiki Clinic in Athens, the High Mountain Clinic in Davos, and Vitalife, the largest hospital in Asia, located in Bankok, just to mention a few, trust this test system.

Medical Interpretation

International acknowledged allergists will interpret the result of the AllergySensor to support you and your patient in the decision making process of a therapy proposal.
