Working with GENOSENSE is very easy. Please see below.

1. Sample Extraction

The sample material is obtained by rubbing the inside of the patient’s cheek with a cotton swab and therefore absolutely painless. Get a free sample extraction set at our Customer Service Team.

Each set contains

• an order form
• a medical history form
• our easy-to-follow instruction sheet
• three buccal swabs
• return-to-sender envelope

You can download examples for order form, medical history form and instruction sheet below. Please note, the more information we get from the medical history form the more specifc our medical consultant can go into the personal situation of the patient.

All forms and swabs are bar-coded to insure confidentiality and privacy. Please print in capital letters and mark the requested analysis on the back side of the order form. Mailing of the test-sets to you will be at the expense of GENOSENSE, sending the tests for analysis to GENOSENSE will be at the expense of you (please try to find the cheapest possible mailing for you). Mailing of the test results and analysis reports to you will be at the expense of GENOSENSE.

2. How To Use The Sample Extraction Set?

Go through the “easy-to-follow instruction sheet”, which is included in the test-sets before using buccal swabs for the first time. Inform the patient in advance, that she(he) should not eat or drink (exception: water) anything within one hour prior to the sample extraction. To perform the requested analysis we need the correctly completed order form including the patient signature (approval that we do the test) and the invoice-address, as well as credit card data, the completed medical history form(s) and three buccal swabs.

3. Forwarding The Test Results To The Assigning Physician

We send the test rports to our partners (always to the medical doctors and never directly to patients) via E-Mail. As our reports do include not only a very detailed laboratory analysis - which would be very quickly available - but also a comprehensive medical interpretation by our medical consultants, it can take up to 6 weeks until you finally receive the reports via e-mail. This is particularly valid for our comprehensive PREMIUM Test (PREMIUM male and female).
